The tree tracker

When to buy the tree.

We check artificial tree prices on the retailers' own product feeds and keep every check, so you can see whether today's "sale" is really a deal. Tap any tag for its price history.

17 trees · 3 shops · 31 price checks · last check Oct 19, 2026, 9:21 AM CT

Affiliate disclosure: some shop links here may become affiliate links in the future, which would earn us a small commission at no extra cost to you. Right now none of them do — every link goes straight to the retailer. Prices change often — each tag shows when we checked, and "was" prices are the retailer's own reference price. Full disclosure.

The sale calendar

open now!

Early season (Sept – early Nov)

Now through mid-Nov 2026

Best selection. Some retailers already show 'compare at' prices; those are the retailer's own reference prices, not our claim of a real discount.

Best for: Popular sizes and styles before they sell out.

Black Friday – Cyber Monday

Fri Nov 27 – Mon Nov 30, 2026

Many tree retailers run their biggest in-season promotions. Discount depth varies by retailer and is not verified here.

Best for: Buying in time to decorate this season.

Post-Christmas / January clearance

Late Dec 2026 – Jan 2027

Leftover seasonal stock is marked down. Discount levels differ by retailer and item; we will only list a percentage once checked on the retailer page.

Best for: Lowest prices if you can wait until next season to use the tree.

Christmas in July

July 2027 (dates not announced)

Mid-year promotions on trees and decor. Not every retailer participates.

Best for: Planning ahead and shopping without holiday stock-outs.

Tracked trees (cheapest first)

Low and high are only from checks we actually recorded — tracking started Oct 19, 2026.
